The best recipe for small potatoes, bacon and cheese for breakfast !
☞ 8 slices of bacon
☞ 3 large russet style potatoes, cut into small pieces
☞ 1.5 cups (375 mL) grated cheddar cheese
☞ Salt and freshly ground pepper
☞ 3 shallots, finely chopped
* Preparation :
Bake your bacon in the oven or preheat the oven to 400 ° F (200 ° C).
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes and grate the cheese. Remove the bacon from the foil, drain it, but retain the bacon fat.
Put potatoes in the foil.
Mix well to cover the potatoes with the bacon fat. Seasoning with the paprika/ salt / pepper.
Bake for about 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Meantime, cut the bacon into little pieces.
Remove the foil from the oven.
Adding the bacon pieces & grated cheese.
Go back to the oven for a some minutes to melt the cheese.
Garnish with shallots.
