Smoked sausage and bell peppers 1


*7 oz turkey smoked sausage (about 1/2 of package, I cooked all of it at once and divided it after cooking)
*1/2 cup chicken broth
*1/2 tsp oregano
*1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
*3 tsp garlic
*2/3 cup onion
*1 red bell pepper, sliced
*1 green bell pepper, sliced
*1 yellow bell pepper, sliced


1. Spray large skillet with cooking spray
2. Add sausage and stir frequently, until no longer pink 5-6 minutes
3. Add bell peppers, onion, broth, garlic, pepper flakes, and oregano. Sauté until liquid is gone and vegetables soften. If your skillet seems full don’t worry so was mine and it cooked fine! Usually about 5 minutes!
4. Reduce heat and simmer covered for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally! And enjoy this mostly veggie dish!
