HERSHEY SYRUPE BROWNIES 1

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (no substitutes, melt in microwave)
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of flour
1 (16 ounce) cans of Hershey’s syrup
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) frosting
3 cups of confectionery sugar
1/2 cup melted butter (no subs)
4 tablespoons of cocoa
4 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Itineraries:
⦁ Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom of a 10 by 15 inch skillet
⦁ After having melted the butter in the microwave, cream sugar and butter together. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
⦁ Add the vanilla extract.
⦁ Add the flour, mix well.
⦁ Add the Hershey syrup, mix well.
⦁ Add chopped nuts, if using.
⦁ Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until brownies test with a toothpick.
⦁ When the brownies are almost done cooking, prepare the frosting.
⦁ Bring the butter, cocoa and 1 T. of milk to a boil in the microwave.
⦁ In a mixing bowl, add the sugar for the confectionery. Add the cocoa mixture to the sugar and beat well. Add 1 t.
vanilla extract. Add the rest of the milk. Add enough to achieve the desired broadcast consistency.
⦁ Let the brownies cool for about 5-10 minutes. Spread on brownies. Sprinkle with a little more chopped
Nuts, if desired. The frosting will harden to a caramel-like consistency.
⦁ Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them into squares.
