Easy Vegetarian Sandwich

"It really a very simple sandwich that is very healthy. It's so yummy even the carnivores will enjoy it."


  • 1 tablespoon almond butter, or to taste
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread
  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


  1. Spread almond butter onto 1 side of each bread slice. Arrange apples neatly over almond butter on 1 slice of bread; top with carrots and Cheddar cheese. Place second piece of bread on top to make a sandwich.
